REPOSSESSION
This is
our basic repossession fee for a standard recovery at an address within
our service area provided by the client. Business and reference addresses
within reason will be run for this same fee. We can service accounts
outside our basic service area for additional charges.
VOLUNTARY
REPOSSESSION
The client specifies voluntary repossessions when they have persuaded the
debtor to surrender the vehicle with the keys to our adjuster. A telephone
number for the debtor will be required so we may make same day pick-up
arrangements.
INSURANCE
All repossessions are charged an insurance fee. Our liability carrier
requires that we collect this fee on every vehicle we handle. We carry a
$3,000,000.00 liability policy in force to protect our clients and
ourselves in the event of an incident.
KEY
WORK
Minimum charge for keys when an account is assigned without valid key
codes. Since 1990 auto manufacturers have been building high security
systems.
TOWING Basic towing is included in the cost of the repossession. Flatbed
towing of vehicles that are wrecked beyond conventional towing, will be
charged at prevailing rates.
STORAGE
The first ten- (10) days of vehicle storage are no charge to the client.
If the debtor redeems the vehicle, they will be charged a fee per day
from the date of recovery.
OUT
OF STATE BIDS
As an added service to our out-of-state clients, we can get bids on your
vehicles that are in our possession and forward them. We do not charge for
bids. If you accept one of the bids we provide, we can assist you with
forwarding moneys and titles as needed to dispose of the collateral.
CLOSES
In the event a debtor brings his account current or makes acceptable
arrangements resulting from the efforts of our adjusters, a closing fee will be charged to the account. In the event an account is closed
because debtor or vehicle cannot be located, there will be no closing fee.
DELIVERY
Local delivery is included with the repossession fee if the vehicle is
delivered directly to an area dealership or auction. Other delivery
instructions can be accommodated upon your request.
CONTACT
& COLLECT
We make contact with the debtor and pick up back payments. This is usually
done after the collector has made arrangements with the debtor and they
are expecting us. We can combine this as a contact and collect or
repossess if no payment is made.
FIELD
CONDITION REPORTS.
If you suspect a vehicle may not be worth repossessing, we can do a field
condition report and fax it to you. This allows you to better decide how
to proceed with the account. Some clients place a $400.00 value and if the
vehicle appears to be worth more than that, we can recover it at that
time.
INVESTIGATIONS
We offer all types of investigations and skip tracing from locating third
party drivers to interviewing neighbors and references. Call for an
estimate of fees for different services. Let us know how we can assist you
in the field. Note: We will provide no investigative services unless
authorized by you in advance.
SPECIAL UNITS
Repossession and investigations are available on semi trucks,
tractor-trailers, buses, motor homes, boats, airplanes and helicopters, as
well as restaurant, and business equipment to locate, recover and
liquidate as per your needs. Anything other than passenger vehicles will
be quoted on a per case basis.
This
